Valencia CF and VCF Foundation, with the Red Cross in favour of children
On Red Cross Flag Day and within the context of VCF World campaign.
On the occasion of Red Cross Flag Day on 9 November, Valencia CF and the VCF Foundation have once again collaborated with the Red Cross by setting up a charity stall at the door of the VCF Foundation's headquarters to raise awareness and funds for children's projects, as part of the social action of VCF World campaign by the club.
The charity stall was attended by a large representation from the Club: Valencia CF president Layhoon Chan, VCF Foundation director Inma Ibáñez, Valencia CF corporate director Javier Solís, Valencia CF director of Infrastructures and Operations Christian Schneider, and Valencia CF ambassador Vicente Rodríguez.
Also present were Valencia CF Femenino player Jimena López, Valencia CF Femenino B coach Naser Kayani, Fundació VCF Benjamín A assistant coach Jordi Burdeus, Fundació VCF Benjamín B assistant coach Marc Ferris, Valencia CF Femenino B players Irene Pons and Judit Sánchez and VCFfem Academy coordinator Juanjo Fernández.
Juan José Collado, regional president of the Red Cross in Valencia, attended on behalf of the organisation.
Likewise, a representation of the Club's volunteers have been working at the charity stall throughout the morning. In the afternoon, the VCF Academy at the Ciutat Esportiva VCF will do the same.
The collaboration of Valencia CF and the VCF Foundation with the Red Cross is not limited to this Day. In fact, in 2023 the Club donated the net proceeds from the charity auction of the Valencia CF players' shirts from the match against RCD Espanyol (€4,000), an auction carried out with MatchWornShirt.
